ITinStock is a technology reseller managing a large and diverse inventory of IT equipment. Their business depends on efficiently listing, pricing and selling thousands of stock items through multiple platforms, including specialist marketplaces like BrokerBin.

The challenge

With around 20,000 stock items managed in the Orderwise system, ITinStock were manually exporting BrokerBin-compatible spreadsheets multiple times a day and uploading them to the platform. This created several issues:

• Significant staff time lost to repetitive manual exports and uploads.
• A high risk of errors and delays in stock and pricing updates.
• No easy way to search and compare product variants within the existing process.
• Inefficient workflows preventing the business from scaling operations smoothly.

ITinStock needed a solution to automate BrokerBin integration and introduce a smarter way to manage and search model variants.

The solution

Hero developed a web-based system integrated with Orderwise and BrokerBin, featuring:

• Automated Data Flow: Secure connections are used to move data between software systems without user involvement.
• Data Processing & Integration: Data is processed into structures suitable for BrokerBin and sent via an API.
• Search Interface: A secure login portal provides a searchable interface for variant IDs, alternative models and pricing, enhancing existing workflows.
