Masters Historic Racing organises prestigious racing events for historic racing car drivers across Europe and America. With hundreds of members and more than 100 races each year, they are recognised as one of the leading organisers in their field.
The challenge
Running live racing events requires strict compliance with health and safety regulations. Masters Historic Racing needed a system that could:
- Manage driver and car registrations accurately and efficiently.
- Enforce race entry rules to ensure compliance with country-specific safety and documentation requirements.
- Support the booking team with tools to handle complex, fast-changing event schedules.
- Generate comprehensive reporting packs for multiple stakeholders, from security and marshals to hospitality teams.

The solution
Hero built a bespoke event management database designed around the specific challenges of live motorsport events. Key features include:
- Enforced entry rules: ensuring drivers and cars can only be registered once all required information, documents and safety details are valid for the host country.
- Streamlined booking management: giving staff tools to efficiently manage entries and track compliance.
- Event Pack reporting: providing one-click generation of a full suite of reports required to run an event, including tailored outputs for different roles (e.g. gate security, track marshals, hospitality).
