Altermans is a North London solicitors’ firm offering a full range of legal services to private and commercial clients. With decades of experience, the firm prides itself on providing clear, reliable and professional legal advice.
The challenge
Altermans had been relying on a Case Management System that was nearly 20 years old. The system:
- Was difficult to maintain and was tied to outdated hardware.
- Could not take advantage of modern IT infrastructure and technologies.
- Lacked flexibility to adapt to different case types.
It therefore required a complete overhaul to support staff workflows and integrate with modern productivity tools.
The solution
Hero worked closely with Altermans to design and deliver a modern, bespoke case management system. The process included:

- Infrastructure integration: collaborating with the firm’s IT support company to ensure the system is fully compatible with their updated network and technologies.

- Microsoft Office 365 integration: enabling users to store and view emails directly within the system, with automatic assignment of incoming emails to cases where possible.
