The challenge

Living Brave developed the Hybrid Preference Type Tool, a framework used by certified practitioners to help delegates explore their behavioural preferences and responses under stress. However, the process relied heavily on printed booklets and manual data entry, creating inefficiencies and limiting scalability. Key challenges included:

• Ensuring only certified practitioners could access and use the tools.
• Managing practitioner subscriptions and delegate access.
• Simplifying the administration of teams, delegates and completed assessments.
• Protecting sensitive personal data with robust security measures.
• Automating the generation of delegate and team booklets, which previously required manual input.

The solution

Hero designed and delivered a secure, scalable online platform that replicated the high-quality experience of printed booklets while adding powerful new functionality:

• Practitioner Management: Living Brave can manage practitioner organisations, certification status, subscriptions and payments directly within the system.
• Delegate Tools: Practitioners can add delegates, group them into teams and track progress through the tools. Delegates complete intuitive online exercises, including drag-and-drop ranking and stress-response mapping.
• Automated Booklet Generation: Reports are generated without manual data entry and are automatically sent to print houses to be printed and dispatched.
• Subscription & Credits: Integrated with Stripe for secure subscription payments and credit management. Credits are used when generating booklets, ensuring a fair, scalable business model.
• Security: Built with best-practice security standards, including two-factor login, password hashing, SSL encryption, IP restrictions, audit logging and role-based permissions.
• Accessibility & Branding: Fully branded to align with marketing and designed to meet WCAG 2.2 accessibility guidelines.
